The Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) is just one of the ministries offered at Highland Baptist Church.

 Highland’s WMU is involved in several initiatives:

* Making the church aware of special mission offerings, such as Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions, Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions, and Golden Mission Offering for Tennessee Missions.

* Collecting fruit cups for “5 Loaves 4 Kids”, a local program to provide food for children who might otherwise have no food available on the weekends.

* Adopting a college student, “Missionary Kid”, as a way to share words of encouragement and send ‘goodies’ on special holidays.

* Praying for missionaries as they work to spread the gospel all around the world.

All ladies from 18 to 100+ are invited to take part in learning, doing, and sharing Christ’s love through missions.
