Music is a very important, vital ministry in any church, and it’s no different at Highland. One of the blessings we all enjoy is having a variety of music played and sung at the church. We have a Southern Gospel quartet, a Bluegrass Quartet, a praise choir, multiple duets and trios and soloists that sing for worship services at every worship time. We especially enjoy the bluegrass quartet with their singing and playing during the services and on special occasions. Of course we have a wonderful choir that leads in the worship services at the church. Not every church is blessed to have the talent and variety of music that we are fortunate to have at Highland.
Highland loves Southern Gospel and traditional worship music, and we mix a bit of contemporary music along the way as well.
Our children’s choir sings for us on a regular basis and they are a delight to see and hear.
The adult choir meets on Wednesday nights at 7:05 PM in the sanctuary to prepare for worship each week. The adult choir, and sometimes a drama team, will treat us with an Easter and Christmas program each year, and an occasional special service too, such as Independence Day or Thanksgiving.
We invite anyone interested to come be a part of this dynamic ministry at Highland.
